What makes this place more enticing is the fact that it was designed, architected, developed and landscaped by its owner and managing director, Mr. Bhagat Singh Lohagarh, who himself is a creative appreciator and creator of art. He belongs to the royal blood of Sinsinwars of Bharatpur. The royal fort in Bharatpur, belonging to the royal family is known as the Lohagarh fort.
Among the Jaats, it was only the Sinsinwars blood, known as Lohagarh, that established an empire undefeated by the Mughals and the Marathas. Being so closely knit to royalty, Mr. Bhagat Singh Lohagarh has been able to do justice to the theme of the resort where every nook of the place feels like a kingdom.
It is not just the creator of this place that has got historical roots, the land itself on which this resort is developed holds an interesting mythical background which makes it even more distinctive. According to a Rajpurohit. 300 years ago, as per the Hindu traditions, for the wellbeing and good fate of then king’s daughter, a people and a banyan tree were tied in marriage, as it is considered to be propitious.
The 300-year-old couple, oldest in Rajasthan, of the banyan and people tree still exists and prospers on our property with great health and humongous roots. According to the forest department, trees this old and with such roots, it is one in a kind and cannot be seen in Rajasthan. The trees add to the environment in a spiritual manner and spread positivity which can be felt patently.
As much this place is apt for a holiday, its architecture and planning make it ideal for weddings too. The essence of royalty that this place provides is absolutely consummate and exquisite. With its impeccable planning, the nooks and corners of this estate have been constructed and renovated to fulfil the traditions and needs of a proper conventional marriage to make it even more auspicious.
